IMPHAL, Aug 31: The JAC formed against the alleged killing of Pangabam Rabi at Chandigarh today staged a sit in protest at the Khurai Kongpal Ningthoubung.
The sit in protest was also attended by meira paibis of several neighbouring leikais.
Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of the demonstration, JAC convenor K Dileep said the JAC has submitted a memorandum to the state Home Minister demanding arrest of all those involved in the killing within five days starting today.
The memorandum had also demanded that the case be handed over to the CBI for further investigation.
In case the government fail to fulfil the demands within five days, the JAC will lauched several forms of agitation in collaboration with other like-minded organizations of the state.
