IMPHAL, Aug 13: Locals and meira paibis of Thongju area yesterday staged a sit in protest against the grenade attack at the residence of All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union president A Mobi’s residence on August 11.
The sit in protest was staged at Thongju Chingonglei Makhong Development Club.
A protestor while condemning the act said the media acts as the eyes and ears for the general public and such terrorist act should be condemned by all.
The protestor further urged all concerned not to repeat such acts in the future.
