IMPHAL, September 1: A quarrel among non locals at a rented house located near Harimohan building, opposite Usha Cinema resulted in a man stabbed at the back and another injured. The incident took place at 7.20 pm today.
According to reports, four non locals who are involved in trading betel leaves are staying at the room. There was an altercation over one of them taking out a bicycle and failing to return on time. In the argument, one Md Masum,20,s/o Md Safur, a resident of Motihari,Bihar stabbed his roommate Md Kyamuddin,22, s/o Md Kabar, in the back. He is a resident of Tusila District,Assam.
Md Jamaluddin, brother of Kyamuddin also sustained injury on his right hand while trying to break up the fight.Both has been admitted for injuries at RIMS hospital. The attacker has been arrested by police.
