IMPHAL, Oct 29: The alleged suicide of Mutum Mona has remained controversial as members of both families have sought custody of the body for conducting the last rites. The body has not been handed over to either side and presently kept at the morgue by police further.
The husband of the deceased, M Ibomcha has been arrested by Porompat police yesterday evening. The post mortem was conducted today in presence of a magistrate and videographed. It was mentioned that custody will be given after the concerned DC has given approval.
