IMPHAL, Oct 30: A Chinese made hand grenade was recovered this morning around 8 am from the residence of Leishangthem Doleshwor, 58 of Kokilbon under Moirang Police. The grenade believed to be left by unidentified armed persons was found lying near the household veranda this morning.
Sources said the grenade has been recovered by a Moirang police team led by OC Surjaboro and deposited at the police station.
Doleshwor who works as an amin at the Moirang Settlement office said that he has not received any prior monetary demand or threats from any militant outfits.
