IMPHAL, October 7: “Radhabinod Koijam while displaying the so called APRs of receipts (money) failed to disclose his own election account before media, which could be suicidal for himself.”
This was said by president of NCP and MLA of Keishamthong A/C, L Ibomcha at a press conference today at NCP office, Thouda Bhabok Leikai, Tiddim Road.
He further said, “Radhabinod, former president of NCP, concealed the facts that the order passed by Ld Civil Judge, Thoubal has already been stayed by Higher Court and that order has no any force. Since the order of Civil Judge, Thoubal has been stayed, the new committee under my leadership is continuing to sustain.”
“Radhabinod has confused the provision, of election and Indian Laws by stating that contempt of Court and other Criminal proceeding may be taken up against me forgetting himself that legal action may be taken up against him for defaming me by stating certain derogatory remarks and concealing of contain legal facts,” he said.
“Radhabinod could not produce any document before media claiming that he is still president of NCP, Manipur State, whereas I am producing the following documents,” he said, while showing an office order of NCP signed by General Secretary of NCP, TP Peethambaram Master which says that Sharad Pawar, president of NCP has dissolved the present state committee of NCP of Manipur and appointment of L Ibomcha Singh as the convenor of the adhoc-committee.
He also showed the media other supporting documents that he has been appointed as the state president of NCP, Manipur.
The funded amount for the election to him was returned back to the central leadership after spending the needed rupees five lakh, he clarified.
While saying that it doesn’t suit for a former Chief Minister to indulge in such pity issues, he said that he will not further retaliate on this issue as he have other thing to be taken care of and added that it is just the waste of time.
