IMPHAL, Oct 10: Panic struck the residents of Moirangkhom when a fire broke out this morning around 7 am at a shop where children were playing electronic games when one of its TV unit got a short circuit and started burning. Luckily, fire tenders arrived on time and save the place and the people from any substantial damages.
In another similar incident, fire broke out at a jewellery shop opposite Ananda Singh Academy at New Checkon around 7:30 am when the cooking LPG gas leaked and fire spread out of control. Fire tenders were successful again in putting off the fire and thus saving lives and properties once again for the day.
