IMPHAL, October 8: The state government has issued an order effecting relocation of works and transfer/new postings of 14 IAS officials including the state chief secretary.
As per the official order, the state chief secretary DS Poonia has been divested of the post of Secretary IT, while he continues to hold the post state Chief Secretary, Secretary to government (DP, Planning, Cabinet & Confidential) Pr. Resident Commissioner Manipur Bhavan, New Delhi.
Further according to the order, Dr Suresh Babu, IAS has also been discharged of the charges of Principal Secretary (SCERT, Adult Education) and will now hold the post of Principal Secretary (Home/Edn S).
It is also further mentioned that WL Hangshing, IAS Principal Secretary (PHED/MOBC & SC and Member Secy/State Commission for OBC has been posted as Principal Secretary PHED Ramnganing Muivah, IAS Principal Secretary (Works/Transport) as Principal Secretary (Works/Transport/Health & Family Welfare); Barun Mitra, IAS, Commissioner to Chief Minister & Principal Secretary (Finance) & Commissioner of Excise in addition as Principal Secretary to Chief Minister & Principal Secretary (Finance & MOBC & SC), Commissioner of Excise & Member Secy/State Commission for OBC in addition.
Further according to the order, Dr Rajesh Kumar, IAS Commissioner (IFCD/AR/Tourism) and DG/SAT & Director Tourism in addition as Commissioner (IFCD/AR/Tourism/IT) and DG/SAT; K Moses Chalai, IAS Commissioner (Hr & Tech Edn, Health & Family Welfare & ex Officio Director, Edn-U) as Commissioner Co Op; Paulunthang Vaiphei, IAS Commissioner (Co Op) as Commissioner (Hr & Tech Edn, SCERT) & Ex-officio Director Edu-U.
The official order has further reposted Md Abdus Salam, MCS Deputy Secy/Edn S and Dy Comm (Taxes) in addition as Dy Comm (Taxes), Deputy Secy Edn S/AE and MOBC & SC and CEO Wakf Board in addition, while Ng Roben Singh MCS, Dy Sec (IT/Planning/ACR) and SO to CS has been posted as Dy Secy (IT/Planning/ACR/DP) and SO to CS.
Further according to the official order, A Temba Singh, MSS Deputy Secretary (Fishery/MOBC & SC) has been posted as Deputy Secretary (Fishery); Ch Sachi, MCS Under Secy/DP & Revenue as AC to DC, Imphal West and BK Sharma, i/c Director (Transport) as Dy Director (Transport).
