IMPHAL, Nov 28: The Assam Riffles has vehemently denied the opinions expressed in some newspaper that the blast which occurred in Khurai Chairen Thongkhong yesterday was accidently dropped from AR Vehicle, as a said by a release today.
The statement further added such an opinion is totally absurd and possibly the result of a perverse imagination motivation by anti elements. It further said that the blast was triggered either by a grenade or explosive placed by the terrorist on crowded stretch of road when the AR convey was passing by.
