Conference on Body Mind and spirit` held

IMPHAL, Nov 18: “Internal purity cannot be attained by external cleansing, like taking a holy dip in Ganga River, and acquiring of spiritual knowledge would be quite beneficial for the people, especially the youth”, this was said by PHED Labour and Employment, Minister I Hemochandra today during  a conference on mind, body and medicine titled “Heal the Healers”.
The said conference was held today at the RIMS Jubilee Hall which organised by the Indian Medical Association, IMA in collaboration with Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalay.

And it was attended by Minister of PHED Labour and Employment, I Hemochandra, president of IMA Manipur State Chapter, Dr Kh Palin, Director of RIMS, Dr S Sekharjit Singh and programme Coordinator, ORC, Gurgaon as chief guest, president and guest of the honour respectively.

And other attendance of the conference includes Dr Banarsilal Sah, executive secretary, Medical Wing, Mount Abu, Dr Ashok R Mehta, Medical Director, Global Hospital, Mumbai, Dr Mohit Gupta, Consultant Cardiologist, GB Pant Hospital, N Delhi; Dr Ratan Rathod, Sr Cardiologist, Fortis Hospital, Mumbai.

Speaking as the chief guest of the conference PHED, Minister, I Hemochandra stressed on the benefits of removing negative emotions like ego, attachment, greed, anger etc.

He further stressed on the benefit of anger management in dealing with the reality.

IMA president, Dr Kh Palin, in his speech as the conference president stressed on the need of positive energy to become a healer and dwelt on the importance of positive mental attitude and added that positive people are less exhaustive physically and mentally.
