IMPHAL Nov 28: The Women Action for Development (WAD) is inviting news reports on ‘Crimes against Women’ from the state scribes for the Gender Journalist Award, 2012.
Any interested scribes from both print and electronic media should submit on or before Dec 5, as said by a release today.
It further added that said award is instituted in relation with the International Fortnight observation protesting violence against women, in which WAD has started observation from Nov 25 that will be concluded on Dec 13.
