IMPHAL, Dec 4: Three jailors of Jail Department have been promoted to Deputy Superintendent of Jail on December 3, as per order issued by the Special Secretary, Home, Government of Manipur with the concurrence of Manipur Public Service Commission.
The three promoted Jailors are A Kunjakeshor Singh, Sokholal Touthang and L Jiban Singh.
They will be on probation for a period of two years, a press release said.
