UKHRUL, Dec. 14: The Catherine Theological College and Seminary (CTCS), celebrated
Advent Christmas 2012 at its chapel hall building at Ukhrul , Hunphun, Khararphungtang, today.
The CTCS which is basically considered as a biblical international institution with the existing students` consisting students from Burma, Bangladesh,Nepal, Punjab(India) and different major tribes of the State viz Meitei, Kuki, Mizo and Tangkhul.
The Bible Students as well as the Lecturers in the College had conducted a mid-night Christmas Carol and the money received has gone into helping the poor families of the area.
Today`s function was moderated by M.TH Lecturer of CTCS Sunant Kumar, with the opening grace from Lecturer of CTCS Dr. Sword Shingnaisui, followed with the serial of Greetings message delivered by academic dean Joseph Sailo. Christmas message was imparted by the Chairman of the Board, Ningmareo L. Shimray, Secretary, Managing Board, CTCS delivered a special exhortation message.
