IMPHAL, Dec 3: Former president of AMSU, Sinam Prakash has been elected as the general secretary of North East Student’s Organisation (NESO) at its recently held election for the term 2012 to 2015.
The other elected members are; Samuel Jyrwa of Khasi Student Union (KSU) as chairman, Shankar Prasad Roy of All Assam Student Union (AASU), Upendra Debbarma of Tripura Students’ Federation (TSF) as vice presidents, Mangseng A Sangma of Garo Students’ Union (GSU) as assistant general secretary, Kapani Krichena of Naga Students Organisation (NSF) as information and publicity secretary, Tujum Poyom of All Anuranchal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) as organising secretary, James Thanghmingma Wia of Mizo Zidal Pawl as finance secretary and Dr Samujjal Bhattachariya of All Assam Students Union (AASU) as advisor.
