DIMAPUR, Dec 3: The Zeliangrong Region of GPRN/NSCN, also known as NSCN-Khole/Kitovi has alleged that one James and one N.Newmai have been `collecting taxes` in the outfit`s name in Tamenglong district of Manipur and in Peren district of Nagaland.
Deputy kilonser M.A. Felix who is the `supervisor` of Zeliangrong Region of the NSCN-Khole/Kitovi alleged that James has been collecting taxes in the outfit`s name in Tamenglong district while N Newmai has been doing it in Peren district.
M.A Felix also alleged that these two individuals are doing it at the behest of a major militant outfit. Felix, however did not mention the name of that `major outfit`.
Meanwhile, the NSCN-Khole/Kitovi, Zeliangrong Region has appealed the general public not to extend their co-operations to James and N Newmai.
The outfit said the public should contact the outfit`s `regional administrative officer` (RAO) H. David if the the need arises oin this count.
