IMPHAL, December 30: The post mortem of the dead bodies of the two hunters, who were found killed at a jungle stretch in Kongkan, Ukhrul district on December 28, was conducted today at Ukhrul district hospital.
The post mortem of the two identified as K Kumar Tangkhul, 48, son of Lethaorhei and K Ramshang, 40, son of K Ramyao, both residents of Koukang village, was conducted by a team of doctors led by JNIMS forensic department head, Assistant Prof Dr Angam.
It may be mentioned here that the banned UNLF had in a release yesterday claimed responsibility of killing of the two hunters, saying that its armed wing MPA, had killed the two hunters mistaking them for Assam Riffles personnel.
