IMPHAL, Dec 19: Following the failure of the authorities to reply to an RTI application seeking information on certain issues pertaining to the Directorate of Health Services, an RTI applicant has resubmitted an appeal.
The first application was submitted on November 2 while the second appeal was made on December 6.
The RTI applications has sought information on whether the preparation of the MGEL list for the employees of the Directorate of Health Services had been completed and if not completed then provide the reasons.
It has also sought information on whether the law allows the government employed doctors to open or work in private hospitals, private clinic and private nursing home and if not allowed then why is the government being silent even though there are several doctors employed by the stat have establish private hospitals, private clinics and private nursing homes. It has further sought information whether the government has taken any action or not.
