IMPHAL, December 4: The tripartite talk between Kuki Militant groups and the state and central governments will be held tomorrow at the national capital.
According to a reliable source, a joint meeting involving both the Kuki umbrella militant groups- KNO and UPF and representatives of state and central governments will be held in the morning at 11am.
The first meeting will decide on the extension of the Suspension of Operation between the militant groups and the government.
It may be mentioned that the state cabinet had approved to extend the SoO by one year during its December 3 meeting.
It is learnt that the state cabinet’s decision will be placed during the talks tomorrow.
Meanwhile the 11:00am talk will be followed by separate talks with the two Kuki groups.
State and Centre representatives will hold talks with KNO at 2pm. Sources said that the talk will be held on the issue of a Kuki state demand.
