IMPHAL, Dec 22: MLA of Tamenglong , Janghemlung Panmei@ Ahem in a message to IFP appeals the public to bring a harmonious atmosphere and preserve the sense of brotherhood among the different communities inhabiting the State. It was mentioned that there is a need to resolve the present issue of the unfortunate incident which occurred to actress Momoko and the concerned authorities needs to address the matter and for justice to be expedient.
It further mentioned that the spirit of the upcoming festival of Christmas which is an annual event for Christians propagates the sense of brotherhood and spreads the message of Peace on Earth. With the coming of this festival, it said that the ties of communal harmony are forever bound tightly and that unity be always strengthened among the different communities inhabiting the State. It concludes that the present imposition has presented various handicaps to Christians during the festive time which comes once in a year and appeals that a relaxation be made to foster the spirit of yuletide and towards the larger sentiment of the public. The message wishes the public a festive Christmas and a prosperous New Year 2013.
