IMPHAL, February 6: Commandos of Thoubal district police on Tuesday arrested two s/s lance corporals of KYKL during search operations in different areas in Thoubal district, said a police release.
According to the release, the arrested persons have been identified as Wahengbam James Singh alias Sanju (24( son of W Bhogen Singh of Wabagai Tera Pishak Khongnang Makhong and Mutum Angou Meitei alias Abinash (27) son of M Mani Meitei of Keirao Langdum Mamang Leikai.
Wahengbam James Singh was arrested from Wabagai Lamkhai at about 3:30 pm and Mutum Angou Meitei was arrested from Yairipok Bazar at about 4:00 pm yesterday, the release added.
