IMPHAL, Feb 25:The Directorate of Information and Public Relations has said in a press release that the first Arambam Ibungohal and Arambam Ongbi Binotkumari Literary award 1012 under the aegis of the Patriotic Writers Forum, Manipur from this years onwards has been awarded to the writer Prabas Thingnamcha for `Ei Amasung Eigi Ima` . The award carries a citation, a momento and Rs 5000 in cash.
A book of poems titled “Reflections” written by Arambam Meme in English was also released as part of the function. Director W Rajen delivered a speech on `Reflections`.
The function held at Lamyanba Sanglen at Palace compound, Imphal was attended by officials and representatives of Manipuri Sahitya Parishad and Patriotic Writers’ Forum.
