IMPHAL, February 25: The 34th Foundation day of the Revolutionary Peoples’ Front was held today at the outfit’s council Headquarter, Thoupurel Loisang, general headquarters, tactical command, strategic command, 252 Mobile battalion, and other units, central bureau, SR-1, SR-2, SR-3, SR-4 and several other places, said a press statement of the outfit.
The statement said RPF is now 34 years old and in the 34 years, the outfit has been waging a war for independence.In connection with the day, the president of the outfit, Irengbam Chaorel encouraged the outfit and its armed wing PLA. The president also appealed to all sections of the society and all the different communities of Manipur inhabiting together for a long time to understand their duties towards an independent land, it said. It has also praised the people for the help made to the outfit.
