LAMKA, Feb 27: The Information and publicity of Churachandpur District Student Union today issued a press release strongly condemning yesterday’s roadside blast in Churachandpur which was later claimed by the proscribed PLA .
The CDSU urged those responsible not to attack anyone be it security personnel in civilian areas which, it say, often lead to loss of lives or injury of civilains as past experience evidently shows, though this time there were no civilian casualty during the blast, it added.
The Union also stated that as reported in some state newspapers, the area of occurrence of yesterday`s blast is very much in Churachandpur District and not in Bisnupur District. It added that the Union will not compromise on the matter of district demarcations and added that the past leader of CDSU had spared no effort in protecting the Churachandpur District boundary.
