IMPHAL, Feb 20: The Democratic Students’ Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) has in a release expressed its happiness over the cabinet decision on February 19 to establish a Manipuri language directorate. The student body also lauded Education Minister for keeping his promise even though a little late and further appealed to provide all the needed facilities of the directorate while establishing it and not to do it just for its namesake.
