IMPHAL, March 1: Imphal West police commandos have arrested two sympathizers of the UNLF organization from Kwakeithel Thounaojam Leikai on February 27 at 1:45 pm, said a press statement of the SP, Imphal West district.
According to the release, the arrested persons have been identified as Pukhrambam Sushno alias Boycha Meitei (26) son of P Subhaschandra Meitei of Wangjing Lamding Elangbam Leikai and Laishram Wanglen Singh (24) son L Ajitkumar Singh of Wangjing Wangkhei.
Further, on February 28 at around 12:30 pm, Imphal West Commandos arrested one sympathizer of PLA/RPF organization from the western side of Khoyathong Pukhri Achouba, it said.
The arrested person has been identified as Naorem James alias Methun (24) son of N Inaobi Singh of Moreh Khunou Ward No 9, it further said.
Imphal West police commandos also arrested one hard core cadre of PREPAK (PRO) organization in front of the Singjamei Super Market on February 28 at about 3:00 pm, it said.
The arrested person has been identified as Heikrujam Dashubanta (19) son of (L) H Neta Singh of Komlakhong Makha Leikai, it added.
