IMPHAL, March 1: Following the State assembly election results of Nagaland, Meghalaya and Tripura declared today, the left front government led by Chief Minister Manik CPI (M) has returned to power due to the true ideology of the communists.
This was stated by Dr. M Nara, Secretary of the Manipur State Committee, Communist Party of India at the Victory Celebration to mark the grand success of the Left Front government in the recent election, which was held at Irabot Bhavan, Imphal at around 2 p.m. today.
He further said that the state government gives a sum of Rs. 1000/- each to handicapped persons every month in Tripura and that Tripuragovernment is run without corruption. It is because the government served the people based on the true and genuine ideology of the communists that they achieved success.
“The communist party won 50 seats out of 60 seats in the state in Tripura and it shows clearly that the people of the state could not be swayed by money and muscle power. The government led by Comrade Manik Sarkar have run the state for four terms. As the party made a grand success in the election, the party will serve the people for the fifth time,” Dr Nara said.
