KSO-SH inspects exam centre

KANGPOKPI, March 1: The Kuki Students’ Organization, Sadar Hills inspected some HSLC Examination private centres within Sadar Hills on February 27: Songpao-Lhinghat Memorial Hr.Sec.School, Saparmeina Centre, H.M. Hr.Sec.School Keithelmanbi Centre and Elite Hr.Sec.School Kangpokpi Centre respectively.

Candidates from 6(Six) schools namely Chil Chil English High School Kanglatongbi, John Calvin Leimakhong, Ideal Eng.H/S Charhajare, Morning Star Saparmeina, Songpao Lhinghat Memorial Hr.Sec.School Saparmeina and Pre-Sainik Eng.H/S Keithelmanbi appeared at Saparmeina Centre.

After the inspection, the student body President Thangminlen Kipgen talking to the media said, “We found many unwanted practice in some centres by many candidates today, but we pardon them. If such unfair means is found in the next tour, we will immediately expel those candidates.”

The student body president further warned that, “If any invigilators are found to be helping or supplying notes to the candidates, the concerned school authority will be imposed a fine of Rs.50,000/- and the particular invigilators would be expelled from examination duty”.

He also appealed to all the general public, examination officials, invigilators and the candidates in particular to cooperate and support the developmental work executed by the student body in the interest of the student community in the areas for bringing quality education.

The student body further appealed to the state government and the electricity department in particular to provide sufficient power supply in the areas in view of the ongoing examinations all over the state in the interest of the student community.
