MSF to inspect schools for common syllabus

    IMPHAL, March 1: Manipur Students’ Federation (MSF) has informed that it will set out to inspect all schools in the state to find out if they are following the common syllabus or not. It has also stated that the student body will take action against those schools which are found using out of syllabus text books at double the original price.

    Speaking to media persons at the MSF office today, Khullakpam Serajuddin, Vice president MSF said that as a part of its academic campaign, it has been giving voice to follow common syllabus.

    MSF has further urged the government and concerned authority to take action against schools, which despite warning are   not following the common syllabus to have their Board affiliation cut. Books which do not follow the common syllabus will be seized and handed over to BOSEM or COHSEM and the cost of the books will have to be refunded by the schools, he added.
