IMPHAL, May 29: Lamsang Block Congress Committee organized a one day block level political workers’ conference at Lamdeng Awang Leikai Community Hall today. Similar conferences had been organised at Lamlai, Keishamthong, Sagolband and Yaiskul earlier and with plans to cover all the 60 ACs and 14 sub-divisions.
During the conference, Gaikhangam, Deputy Chief Minister and President Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) said the Congress workers have to carry out self introspection from time to time that if the party goes with the people’s desire or not.
UPA-III will be a reality again as the people of the nation know that Congress is the only party which is established and stable, he said
Gaikhangam has also informed that those involved in the murder of an Assamese driver at Kangpokpi have been arrested.
Herojit Ngangomba, President Lamsang BCC; W Brajabidhu Singh, MLA Lamsang AC and Congress workers also attended the said conference today.
