IMPHAL, May 30: The proscribed outfit, Revolutionary People’s Front in a press release has alleged irregularities in the tender allocation for works under the Manipur State Rural Roads Development Agency (MSRDA) by officials of the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.

The statement signed by the outfit`s Secretary publicity RPF Roben Khuman, said that that the MSRRDA had announced NIT (Notice Inviting Tender) No 6/14/2011/MSRRDA/E-Tender/PH-VIII for 15 packages in the five hill districts of Manipur on October 15, 2012.

The packages include six packages for Chandel district, 16 packages for Senapati; 2 packages for Tamenglong; 15 packages for Ukhrul.

It has further alleged that the details provided in the page 2 of the NIT (Annexure A) published in newspapers were different from the one provided in the website page 3 (Annexure B). However the Chief Engineer failed to correct the differences in time.

Citing several such irregularities, the press statement has claimed that it has created a sense of feeling  amongst the people of the hills that the valley people have taken all the advantage and are more in a favourable situation.

It has further appealed to the people to understand that bureaucrats are being used as agents of the Indian rule and demanded the bureaucrats to stop being agents and to stop all such irregularities at the earliest.
