Calling attention motion on non availability of drinking water in urban and rural areas including Imphal to be raised

    IMPHAL, June 29: MLA L. Ibomcha Singh, the lone MLA of opposition Nationalist congress party (NCP) of Keishamthomg Kendra is all set to draw the attention of the House by raising a calling attention motion on non availability of drinking water in urban and rural areas in the state including the public in the heart of Imphal. It may be mentioned that various MLAs has put questions on non availability of drinking water in their own constituencies in sittings of the House on the 15th day.

    On the other hand, opposition leader of the House, MLA Dr. I. Ibohalbi Singh of All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) will raise a calling motion on relaxation of the age of Meiteis in the competitive examinations conducted by the commissions for discussion on the floor of the House and will draw the attention of the House by bringing various matters on Hindu, Meitei Sanamahi and Meitei of major community.

    The said two calling attention motions may be taken up as usual after the business of short notice question 1, starred question 9, and un-starred question 4 is over.
