IMPHAL, June 29: The Manipur Judicial Academy was inaugurated today at the State Academy of Training complex, Takyelpat by Justice Madan B Lokur, Judge, Supreme Court of India attending as the chief guest.
The inaugural function was also attended by Justice Abhay Manohar Sapre, Chief Justice, High Court of Manipur; Justice N Kotiswar, Judge, High Court of Manipur and Th Ibohal, Advocate General, Manipur as presidium members.
Speaking at the function, Madan B Lokur said that the academy will help enhance the knowledge of all the people who are working in this field.
Those who are in the field of law will not have to go outside for training programs anymore, he said.
The State Judicial Academy will also conduct other academic training programs so that all the people who are engaged in the field of law can learn and hence justice delivery will progress in the state, he added.
