IMPHAL, June 3: A press release issued by the general secretary of All Manipur Government Higher Secondary Lecturers’ Welfare Association has expressed displeasure while alleging that some private schools are offering Rs 2/3 lakhs to the toppers in the HSLC examination so that the toppers are admitted in their schools.
The statement said that such corrupt practice will lead the best students to an unfair world; and also appealed to the Government of Manipur and social organisations to check the private schools that are doing unfair business on education. The statement further expressed that effective implementation of SSA and RMSA scheme will be the only answer for grooming government schools.
