IMPHAL, June 4: Manipur Pradesh Trinamool Congress Committee has strongly expressed disapproval on the inhuman conduct of Bishnupur Police Commando’s action against the patient party who were on their way to hospital, said in a press release issued by its General secretary. Being a law enforcing agency, police personnel should help general public instead of arbitrary harassment to them which in turn would definitely bring bad image to the disciplined force, it further urged.
The press release added that Manipur Assembly has taken a resolution in support of inner line permit while enforcement of the resolution showed the weakness on the part of the government saying that Trinamool Congress will support all democratic moment of the civil societies as government did not have the commitment in this regard.
