IMPHAL, June 16: A press release issued by the Minuthong Hatta Social Welfare Union said that a Tata truck ran over two persons at the traffic crossing in front of Porompat Police station at 8:30 p.m. on June 8 and one victim was killed on the spot while the other victim is being hospitalised at Shija hospital. It appealed to the Imphal East Police to recover the truck involved in the incident failing which the club will launch stringent agitations along with students’ organisations and other clubs and organisations.
