IMPHAL, July 31: A newly built office for Meira Paibis of Lairenkabi was inaugurated and handed over today at Lairenkabi under Sekmai Assembly Constituency in Imphal East district around 10.30 am.
The function was attended by N Boby, Pradhan of Lairenkabi Kadangbam Gram Panchayat, A Gojendro, Pradhan of Pheiyang Gram Panchayat and N Biren, ex-MLA of Sekmai Constituency.
The inaugurated office was for Chingleima Lup and Ching-Tam Leimarol Meira Paibi Apunba Lup with head office of the both located at Lairenkabi.
Galvanise Corrugated iron sheet used in building the office was donated by ex-MLA N Biren and N Boby, pradhan of Lairenkabi Kadangbam Gram Panchayat also donated an amount of Rs 1000.
