IMPHAL, July 1: The Dedicated Three Mothers’ Trust today observed the Memorial observation of the three Meira Paibis Ima Chaobi, Ima Momon and Ima Indumani today at the Kwakeithel Akham Leikai Community Hall.
The day has been observed under the theme “Peace and Prosperity”. The day has been observed since the past two years.
Speaking at the observation, Pureileimarol Apunba Meira Paibi, President Memchoubi said that the meira paibis have been taking active role in confronting all issues of the state.
Further condemning the police for its atrocities committed against the society, she appealed to all to stand united to fight all such atrocities and bring peace and development in the state.
AMKIL, Vice President Mema said that the Ibobi led state government in fear of the central government has continued to remain a silent spectator to all the atrocities and violence happening in the state.
Since the government has failed to listen to the people even on submission of memorandums, protests, agitations and demonstrations, she said that it is time for the public seek the attention of the centre for their problems.
Chingmi Tammi Apunba Lup, president Momon also appealed to all to stand united in the fight for development of the state.
