JIRIBAM, July 27: Weight & Measure Department cum Legal Metrology conducted a weight check/verification drive today led by Inspector Th Somorandro at the Shops in Jiribam Sub-Division.
Last year, around 157 measuring stones were verified during a similar inspection.
Speaking to the media, Inspector Th Somorandro said that the inspection was mainly conducted at Gularthol Bazar, Lamkhai Bazar, Jiri Bazar and Lalpani Bazaar.
