IMPHAL, July 29: Locals and womenfolk of Nagaram today staged a sit in protest against the bomb blast at the residential gate of social worker M Ngarami on July 27 at around 7:40 pm.
Speaking to the media persons, one of the women protestor said that the locals condemned the violent act in a crowded residential area and further appealed not to repeat such type of threat in the residential area again.
She further sought clarification from whosoever is responsible for the bomb blast at the earliest.
It may be mentioned that on 27 July on at around 7.40 pm, unidentified persons hurled a hand grenade at the residence of social worker M Ngarami 50 son of (L) Mahini Tangkhul of Chadong Village, Ukhrul District at present, staying at Nagaram Residence.
