IMPHAL, August 1: The 14th Battalion Manipur NCC group Imphal today launched the Cadet Management System (CMS) at NCC Group Imphal Complex, DM College campus.
The system is developed by KokSamLai Solutions Pvt Ltd.
Speaking to media persons at the end of the launch function, Col A Hajela said that the CMS launched today is the first amongst the NCC units in entire country.
He further said that this will help in managing information of the cadets and further help in organizing camp activities.
He said it will also help in distribution of certificates to the cadets.
The management of the individual information of the cadets used to be a problem in the past, however with the CMS there will be a huge reduction of work load, he said.
Cadets, Associated NCC Officers (ANOs), and everyone in NCC will get benefit from the system.
He also said that this system will be deployed in the entire north east soon.
Harjeet Sinam, member of KokSamlai team told this IFP reporter that KokSamLai Solutions Pvt Ltd has already developed a product called “SIMsLite”, a school management system.
He further said that the idea of CMS was concieved in January 2013, when Col A Hajela contacted KokSamLai solutions about management of developing the system, considering the requirement and input from NCC.
