IMPHAL, August 5: South East Asia Cultural Organisation (SEACO) observed its third foundation day held at Lamyamba Sanglen, Palace Compound today.
Speaking at the function, Mr World Dr Ng Santikumar lauded the culture and tradition of the state which is very unique and said that the culture and tradition of the Manipuri society is beautiful.
He continued that tradition and culture should be nurtured and encouraged properly, which in return will reveal the real identity of the Manipuri society.
As a person born and brought up in the state even after he shifted to Taiwan, he has been observing all festivals of the state in his adopted country, he said.
Y Nabachandra, president, United Committee Manipur (UCM) said each and everyone should know their own culture to show the identity of his or her community.
Dr Y Manikhuman, president, AMUCO said to bring a better society everyone need co-ordination and we need to safeguard our culture and tradition because if any blemish occur will always give bad impact to the community.
