IMPHAL, August 29: The People for Animals, Thoubal has rescued a rare turtle known as Ganges soft-shell turtle. The turtle was found by Akoijam David Meitei of Sagolband Tera Yengkhom Leirak along a drainage canal near to his house yesterday. The turtle would be released at a suitable site shortly, said a release of PFA.
