IMPHAL, September 5: Suspected militants exploded a bomb at a place which is about 200 metres away from the Reserve Line of Ukhrul district police last night at around 10 pm.
Police said that the place where the bomb exploded is commonly known as Seven Finance. The blast site is near Tangkhul Nagalong (TNL) former president Solomon’s residence however, as the bomb exploded at a road side the actual target could not be ascertained, police said.
There was no casualty from the explosion. A case has been registered the police.
