IMPHAL, September 27: The People Action for National Democratic Movement (PANDM) today conducted a drive to cease items sold beyond the expiry date at Uripok.
The team found several items like pocket Maaza, Frutlo mango, Minute Maid and some other items from a grocery shop at Uripok Machin Cheirap Court being sold beyond their expiry dates.
Speaking to media persons at its office, Secretary (IPR) of PANDM Rosnikanta Takhelcha said that the organization received information about expired fruit juices being sold in Imphal, following which volunteers of the organization conducted the drive and seized the items.
He said the organization will be continuing with such drives in the future too.
