IMPHAL, September 27: Families members of two 19 year old girls have today claimed that the two girls in question have gone missing since September 20 afternoon.
Addressing a press conference today at the Manipur Press Club, the family members identified the two girls as Phurailatpam Ratneshori alias Chanbi, (19), daughter of (L) Phurailatpam Achou Sharma of Keishamthong Top Leirak and Lourembam Nonibala Devi alias Premlata Devi (19), daughter of Lourembam Premkumar of Heirangoithong West.
None of the other family members had seen the two girls leaving their respective houses, they claimed. Phurailatpam Ramani, the grandmother of Ratneshori said the two girls are B Sc 1st year students of Manipur College.
If both the girls had eloped on the same day, the families would have certainly got word about their whereabouts failing which, both families are in a state of worry, Ramani said.Adding that a missing report was filed with the police on September 21, she appealed to all concerned to help the families in finding the two girls and inform them if they come across the two girls.
