IMPHAL, Oct 1: Justice Abhay Manohar Sapre, the first Chief Justice of the High Court of Manipur which was inaugurated on March 25, 2013 is likely to be transferred.
According to reliable sources, Justice Abhay Manohar Sapre is reportedly set to be transferred as the Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court, while one of the seniormost Justice at the Allahabad High Court will likely be the next Chief Justice of the High Court of Manipur. However, there is no official order forthcoming on the transfer till the filling of this report.
