IMPHAL, October 1: The International Day of Older Persons was organized on October 01, 2013 at 143 Bn, CRPF Headquarters, Lamphelpet Imphal, said a press release issued by commandant of 143 Bn CRPF.
During the function, senior citizens of the nearby areas of 143 BN, CRPF were invited for the function and were felicitated by RD Jeany Anal, Commandant 143 Bn CRPF.
While addressing the gathering on the occasion, RD Jeany Anal, Commandant emphasized the value of senior citizens in the society. He also emphasized that senior citizens should be provided with better facilities and should be respected with dignity, it said. All the elderly persons present in the function were gifted with a shawl.
