IMPHAL, Oct 2: A flag off ceremony of the five days trekking cum nature study programme 2013 for north east region was today held at Epathoukok, Naoremthong Bazaar at 9:00 am.
The programme was organized by Manipur State Bharat Scouts and Guides, said press release of the Manipur State Bharat Scouts and Guides, Langol Game Village.
Th Ibopishak Sing, National Headquarters Commissioner (North Eastern Region) who is also the State Chief Commissioner Manipur State Bharat Scouts and Guides graced the function chief guest in which 110 Rover, Ranger, Scouts and Guides from Assam, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and North Frontier Railway are participating.
The program will include trekking from Imphal to Thanga Karang, Keibul Lamlao and back.
