MOREH, October 1: The Meetei Moreh, Council has thanked the CAF & PD/Education minister M Okendro and local MLA D Korunthang for distributing Super Fine rice at subsidized rate to the people of Moreh.
A press statement of the council said people of Moreh have been facing acute shortage of rice in the last few months and moreover price of rice imported from Myanmar has been skyrocketed.
It then appealed the minister and MLA to arrange and avail rice at subsidized rate every month.
