IMPHAL, Oct 1: The Wangmataba Youth Club, Thoubal today celebrated the silver jubilee celebration of the club at Thoubal district Table Tennis Stadium.
The function was attended by Dr M Nara ex. Minister of Art & Culture, S Raghumani Singh ex president of the club and Ksh Manglem Singh, retired CMO and L Bira Singh, Social Worker respectively.
During the function, Nara said that today, the need to strengthen the local clubs has increased manifold owing to diminishing role of the government. A free medical camp was also organized with the help of the District Health Society Thoubal as part of the silver jubilee celebration.
